Together for inequality-free educational environments!

The rise of misogynistic, homophobic and transphobic discourse in the public sphere unfortunately does not stop at the school gates. On the Gaspé Peninsula and in the Magdalen Islands, as elsewhere in Québec, educators are observing a worrying trend of increasingly blatant prejudices. In response, the Table de concertation féministe · Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine (TCFGIM) is proud to officially launch its project: Teaching Equality, from early childhood all the way through to CEGEP level. Now more than ever, it is vital that professionals working with youth are equipped to challenge these stereotypes.

Comprehensive and Free Training

Workshops are offered free of charge to teams of education professionals throughout the region until March 2028. Tools and activities are also available on the project website. Following the workshops, teams wishing to tackle specific issues can benefit from personalized support.
