Festif & Safe Toolkit

As part of the Festif & Safe: For safe party spaces, the roundtable and its partners have developed a comprehensive toolkit for festival and event organizers across the region.

Launched in 2023, the initiative aims to raise public awareness, strengthen the sense of safety among festivalgoers, and help prevent sexual violence and drink tampering. Festivals and large public events can present circumstances that increase the risk of these incidents, making prevention and preparedness essential.

This toolkit is designed to guide and support organizers in implementing effective safety measures at their events. Most resources are available in both French and English. The only exception is the pre-recorded training session. If you would like to receive an English version, please contact us—we can provide the training with English subtitles.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact our Development Officer, Charlotte Agostini.

Training

This 23-minute pre-recorded training session is an essential resource for developing a better understanding of sexual assault and accidental intoxication, while providing practical strategies for responding appropriately.

The training is intended for festival organizers and volunteers and will help them feel better prepared to recognize situations of concern and respond effectively.
